IFFCO sets up agrochemicals joint venture with Japan's Mitsubishi Corporation

Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Ltd. (IFFCO), the country's largest producer of fertilisers, has formally launched a joint venture with Japan's Mitsubishi Corporation for the sale and distribution of agrochemicals in India. According to an IFFCO statement, it will hold 51 per cent stake in the company that will be known as IFFCO-MC Crop Science Ltd, while the remaining stake will be owned by Mitsubishi. IFFCO has built up a highly respected national brand as India's largest producer and distributor of fertilisers, delivering high quality fertilisers needed by farmers through their nationwide cooperative society network.
