Caustic soda flakes plunged by Rs. 50 to Rs. 1,900 per bag (50-kg) due to profit booking selling by stockists. It is likely to ease further. Copper sulphate slid by Rs. 10 to Rs. 130/150 per kg due to decrease in prices of raw materials. Ammonium chloride and Caustic potash declined by Rs. 20/25 to Rs. 1,000/1,980 and Rs. 4,450 per bag (50-kg) on lack of demand. Soda ash softened by Rs. 5/10 to Rs. 1,310/1,330 per bag (50 kg).
