The week under review saw downward revision in the prices of most solvents, oxo alcohols and fiber intermediates. Toluene (Reliance) was up by Rs. 1.50 and quoted at Rs. 50 (basic) in bulk, while packed material ruled at Rs. 55 (basic). BPCL material was quoted at Rs. 47 (basic) in bulk. Imported toluene was quoted at Rs. 52 in bulk. Benzene domestic was down by Rs. 9 and quoted at Rs. 46 (basic), while BPCL's benzene ruled at Rs. 41.40 (basic) in bulk. Imported benzene ruled in the region of Rs. 45-49 per kg (basic).
