Indore to host second edition of PhaipiaTech Expo in October

The Indian Drug Manufacturers' Association (TDMA) jointly with Pharma Technologyfndex.com Pvt. Ltd. a KNS group of company will organise the second edition of PharmaTech Expo from 6-8 October 2013 in Indore, informed a press release. Touted as the central India's largest pharmaceutical exhibition, the PharmaTech Expo 2013 will be held at the newly built Brilliant Convention Centre in Indore. Indore is fast becoming a hub of pharmaceutical indus- tries and around 250 units in and around Indore are said to be involved in manufacturing of allopathic, homeopathic and ayurvedic formulations. Companies like Ranbaxy, IPCA, Plethico, Piramal, Lupin already have units there while Mylan, Teva and Parenteral Drugs (India) are also coming up with new projects in Indore. Around 150 exhibitors are expected to showcase expertise in processing plant & machinery, packaging, lab equipment, water treatment, biotechnology, clinical research, bulk drugs & formulations, excipients, etc. over an exhibition area of over 75,000 sq. ft. The organisers expect over 5,000 trade visitors to participate in the show. IDMA is also planning to organise a seminar concurrent with the exhibition.
