Wacker highlights silicone elastomers for automotive industry at Plastindia

German chemicals company, Wacker, showcased its speciality silicone elastomers for the automotive, transportation and infrastructure industry at the recently concluded Piastindia 2012 expo. The products on show included 'Elastosil R plus 48xx' and 'Elastosil LR 384x', which are oil-bleeding silicones used for manufacturing electrical mat seals and weather packs for automotive electronics. Oil-bleeding silicone rubbers constantly exude small amounts of silicone oil.
