Xylenes and Alco-chemicals gain; Aniline zooms up; downtrend in PAN/MAN

The week under review saw rise in prices of mixed xylene, ortho xylene, styrene, alco-chemicals and aniline, while those of phthalic and maleic anhydride ruled lower than previously reported prices. The basic rate of Toluene (Reliance) was quoted at Rs. 71.50 (basic) in bulk, while the rate for packed material ruled at Rs. 73 (basic). BPCL material was quoted at Rs. 69 (basic) for bulk. Benzene (Rehance) was at Rs. 68 (basic) for bulk, while BPCL material was quoted at Rs. 68.05 (basic) in bulk.
