'Agrochemicals industry should target Rs. 20,000-cr turnover in next three years'

The Chairman of the BASF Group of companies in India, Mr. Prasad Chandran, has set a stiff target for growth of the Indian agro-chemical industry.Speaking at a conference organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in Mumbai on Feb 10-11, Mr. Chandran urged the industry to attempt to reach a turnover of Rs. 20,000-crore, from about Rs. 15,000-crore now. "The industry must not be satisfied with growth of9-10%,"hesays.
