Dow among top 100 global innovators: Thomson Reuters

Dow Chemical has been named in the first edition of Thomson Reuters' 'Top 100 Global Innovators'. "This independent recognition is based on a proprietary methodology to identify the most influential organisations globally as demonstrated through patent and intellectual property data," said a companynote released at the occasion. Rohm and Haas, which was acquired by Dow in 2009, was also named a 'Top 100 Global Innovator'. Both companies were honoured autonomously because they each filed patents during a portion of the timeframe considered for the ranking's methodology (from 2008 to 2010).
