Indian basket of crude cheaper by 4.7% in July 2009

The price of the Indian basket of crude continued its decline through the month of July 2009, and closed at $66.66 per barrel on July 30,2009, which was around 4.7% lower than the price of $69.60 per barrel on the first day of the month. The average price of crude during July 2009 was $64.65 per barrel, which was almost 6.5% lower than the June 2009 average, at $69.12 per barrel.
