CIA seeks additional import duty on imported chemicals to cushion price fall & ensure sustainability of domestic industry

The Chennai-based,Chemical Industries Association(CIA)has urged the government to take necessary steps to ensure sustainability of the otherwise well-founded chemical sector in the county.The association has expressed concern over the steep fall in prices of chemical products during the last few months,which threatens the viability of the domestic industry.
