ExxonMobil Chemical completes new facility to supply high-performance polymer compounds

ExxonMobil Chemical has announced the completion and start-up of a new US20-mn compounding facility to supply high-performance polymers to the automotive,appliance and speciality consumer products industries.The world-class facility,located at ExxonMobil's integrated Baton Rouge (US) complex,has an initial capacity of 40,000-tpa of speciality compounded products.The facility will manufacture abroad spectrum of products including 'Exxtral' thermoplastic olefins and 'Santoprene' thermoplastic compounds for interior,exterior and un-der-the-hood automotive applications,and other speciality materials for appliance,packaging,personal care,construction,and electrical end uses.
