Chemtum to impose temporary surcharge on organotin stabilisers

Effective from September 1,2007,or as contract terms permit,Chemtura Corporation will implement a global temporary surcharge of 0.04-0.22 per lb on all organotin stabilisers.The action,which comes after previously implemented price increases,is to offset "unprecedented inflation in worldwide tin metal prices",a company statement said.
