Ube to debottleneck caprolactam line in Sakai,Japan

Ube Industries plans to expand the capacity of its caprolactam facility at Sakai,Japan to 105,000-tpa,within the next three years as part of efforts to enhance its presence in the caprolactam business.The company used to operate two caprolactam lines at the Sakai plant with a combined capacity of 110,000-tpa,but closed one line in 2003 based on the hy-droxyl ammonium sulphate oximatidn(HSO)process.
