Degussa expands production of high-performance rigid foam to North America

Degussa is planning to build a production plant for its rigid polymetha-crylimide foam 'Rohacell' at its largest US site in Mobile,Alabama.The new plant is likely to involve investments of about US10-mn and is scheduled to commence operation in mid-2008.'Rohacell' is a product of Degussa's High Performance Polymers Business Unit,and is currently produced at its plant in Darmstadt,Germany.
