Bayer-Tongji sets up chair for sustainable development in Chinese university

Bayer and Tongji University have announced the endowment of a chair of 'Environmental Policy and Sustainable Development'.The chair will be part of IESD,the Tongji Institute of Environment for Sustainable Development in cooperation with the United Nations Environment Programme based in Shanghai's Tongji University.The endowment totals US1-mn provided by the Bayer Science and Education Foundation overthe first five years.
