This week the metal prices rose to their highest levels.The price rise is above expectations.Though the speculation is believed to be one of the reasons but the geological factor is also behind the same.The production cost is high and the uncertainty of labour problems in the mines worldwide is also affecting the same.The actual importers are not able to absorb this price hike.Importers do not have much stock as most of them cleared off their inventory due to low demand off-take.
