Oman-India fertilizer project inaugurated

The Oman-India Fertilizer Project(OMIFCO),was formally inaugurated by Mr.Ahmed Bin Abdul Nabi Macki,Minister for National Economy and Supervisor of Ministry of Finance,Sultanate of Oman in the presence of Mr.Ram Vilas Paswan,Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers and Steel on 28 January at Sur,Oman.Speaking on the occasion,Mr.Paswan stated that the project is a very successful joint venture in the field of fertilizers and would be of mutual benefit for both the countries.He also said that Oman and India have long age-old historic ties and this relation could be further strengthened in various fields.
