Crude oil production down 1.9% during April

Crude oil production,during April 2006,fell by 1.9 % to 2.749-mt,against 2.802-mt for the same month last year.Production also fell short of the target of 2.789-mt by 1.45%,according to figures released by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.ONGC fell short of its target of 2.130-mt by 1.6%.
