The Women's Health Initiative (WHI) study results released in 2002 found that while HRT reduced the risk of os-teoporotic fractures and colon cancer,it also increased the risk of heart disease,stroke,breast cancer and blood clots,with overall risks outweighing the benefits.Not surprisingly,these negative results from the WHI have led to a dramatic reduction in the use of HRT.In fact us850-mn was wiped off the market value of HRT in 2003.
