AOS:Household and personal care products to drive future demand

Godrej Industries Ltd.has been manufacturing AOS(alpha olefin sulfonate)for the last 20 years.The pioneering research work on AOS and its use in detergents was carried out under the guidance of Dr.B.P.Godrej at Godrej Research Centre.AOS has a well established market and has replaced LABS in many detergents.Brands such as Ezee,Godrej Liquid Cleaner and other well established brands of detergents&shampoos use AOS as their detergent base.Since AOS is biodegradable and gives excellent cleaning and foaming properties in hard water,its usage has been growing steadily.
