Wockhardt gets USFDA nod for famotidine

Wockhardt Ltd.has received the approval of regulatory authorities in the United States to market its over-the-counter(OTC)version of famotidine,an anti-ulcer drug,in the US market.Earlier,Wockhardt had received US Food and Drug Administration(USFDA)approval to market famotidine 20-mg and 40-mg tablets,both prescription products.
