LG Chem to expand acrylic acid capacity in Korea

LG Chem Ltd.,the largest chemical company in Korea,has announced plans to add a fourth acrylic acid plant in Yeosu by the end of 2007.The new plant will produce 80,000-tpa of crude acrylic acid.The company's existing three plants are situated in Naju and Yeosu.With the fourth one,its total acrylic acid production capacity is set to go HB^H^HHB up to 240,000-tpa.
