ExxonMobil to license LDPE tubular reactor technology to Huntsman

ExxonMobil Chemical Technology Licensing,LLC has signed an agreement with Huntsman Petrochemical(UK)Ltd.to license its'tubular process technology for Huntsman's new world-scale 400,000-tpa LDPE plant to be built in Teesside,England.This will be the world's largest LDPE reactor and is expected to be operational in late 2007.The technology will enable Huntsman to benefit from the efficiencies of the world's first 400,000-tpa LDPE plant,which will be based on current state-of-the-art reactors operated or designed by ExxonMobil Chemical to manufacture LDPE products.
