Aggressive innovation-key to grow Asia's SDC markets

With nearly half of the glbbal population,rising incomes and aspirations,Asia is the next frontier that many businesses hope to cash in on.The expectations,hopes and challenges facing the soaps,detergents and cosmetics(SDC)industry(essentially the personal & fabric care industry)-and as a consequence their suppliers,including of a host of chemicals-was the subject of a three-day'Asian Soaps,Detergents & Cosmetics'(ASDC)conference,organised for the first time on a pan-Asia platform by the Oil Technologists'Association(OTAI)(Western Zone Chapter)in Goa from 13-16 March.
