The Indian castor oil industry will have to lay greater emphasis on improving the extent of value-addition in the business,if it is to ensure a sustainable future for itself.In spite domination of supply to global markets,the industry has been hitherto unable to set prices,as outlets for the oil are limited to classical applications that see little or no growth.
