The sixth edition of Energy Summit-2004,a biennial event of the Confederation of Indian Industry(Cll),held at Chennai recently emphasised the need for energy conservation and management as it was held when the crude oil prices touched an all time high.The Summit for the first time,addressed the issues facing the oil and gas sector,with Mr.M.S.Srinivasan,Additional Secretary,Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas,Government of India,who delivered the inaugural address,stressing the need for integrating nanotechnology with a hydrogen-based economy for a sustainable future.
