'Third Amendment to Patents Bill will take public health concerns into account'

The Minister of Commerce and Industry,Mr.Kamal Nath,has assured members of leading political parties that the proposed third amendment to the Patents Bill,which would be introduced in the beginning of the winter session of Parliament,would fully take into account public interest,including public health concerns,and make full use of the flexibilities available in this regard in the WTO Agreement on Trade-Related Intellectual Property Rights(TRIPS).
