SK Global sells Nexiene PE business to JV with Sabic

SKGlobal Chemical (SKGC; Seoul) is to divest Nexlene, a premium polyethylene (PE) business, to a 50-50 joint venture with Sabic. The jv, Sabic SK Nexlene Co. (Singapore), will be the owner of the technology and of a 230,000-m.t./year Nexlene PE plant at Ulsan, South Korea.
