Fuller completes acquisition of Chinese firm Tonsan Adhesive

H.B. Fuller says that it has finalized the previously announced acquisition of Tonsan Adhesive (Beijing), the largest independent engineering adhesives provider in China. Fuller has acquired 95% of the equity of Tonsan for 1.40 billion renminbi ($224.1 million) in cash. Tonsan generated about $100.0 million in revenue in 2014. The four founding shareholders of Tonsan will remain with the company as part of the leadership team and retain a minority equity interest.
