Lego to invest $150 million to find alternatives to ABS

The Lego Group (Billund, Denmark), maker of the Lego brick toys, has announced an investment of 1 billion Danish kroner ($147.8 million) to "find and implement new sustainable alternatives to current raw materials." The company says its sustainable materials center, which will be established in 2015-16 at the company's headquarters, will employ more than 100 people.
