Merck KGaA names next CEO, relaunches brand

Merck KGaA says that its board has appointed Stefan Oschmann as the company's new chairman and CEO. The appointment will take effect at the end of Merck KGaA's shareholders' meeting on 29 April 2016. Oschmann will succeed Karl-Ludwig Kley, who is slated to retire after eight years as head of Merck KGaA. Oschmann has been a member of the executive board of Merck KGaA since 2011.
