Mexico extends deadline for review of PPG-Comex deal

PPG Industries says Mexico's competition commission is extending the deadline for its review of PPG's proposed $2.3-billion acquisition of Comex. PPG said on 13 October that without the extension, Mexico's Federal Economic Competition Commission would have been required to rule on deal within the "coming days."
