Arkema has confirmed reports that it will sell itstin stabilizer business. The company. is divesting the operation to the PMC Group (Mount Laurel, NJ), a producer of performance chemicals and plastics. The move is part of Arkema's refocusing on core spe-cialty businesses. It is due to close this fall, subject to the Netherlands' works council's information and consultation process,and approval of antitrust authorities.
