Braskem is participating in the bidding process to acquire Indupa (Buenos Aires), Solvay's South American polyvinyl chloride (PVC) business, according to a Braskem filing with SEC. In the filing, Braskem says it is "participating in the competitive sale process of these assets, though there are no concrete, even if preliminary, results so far, nor is there any expected deadline for the conclusion of the process."
