Ineos licenses PP technology again to China Shenhua Group

Ineos Technologies says it has licensed its In-novene polypropylene (PP) technology to a subsidiary of China Shenhua Group (Beijing), China Shenhua Coal to Chemical Xinjiang Coal Chemical, for the manufacture of homopolymers, random copolymers, and impact copolymers. The new PP plant will be located at Urirmqi, in Uygur Autonomous Region of Xinjiang, China. The complex will be built downstream from a methanol-to-olefins (MTO) plant and will be designed to produce 450,000 m.t./year of PP.
