K+S to Acquire Potash One, Advance Greenfield Potash Project

K+S has agreed to acquire Vancouver-based Potash One for C$4.50/share ($4.41/share), a 34% premium over the closing price for Potash One shares on November 19, the last close before the deal was announced, the companies say. The cash offer values Potash One at $430 million and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2011.
