Air Products Sells Pre-Polymers Business Plans Hydrogen Plant and ASU

Air Products has agreed to sell its polyurethane (PU) pre-polymers business to Italian specialty chemicals firm COIM (Milan) for an undisclosed sum. The deal includes the Airthane and Versathane brands, as well as a plant at Paulsboro, NJ. Air Products would not break out sales figures for its PU pre-polymers business, but analysts estimate its annual sales at about $10 million-$15 million.
