The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has cleared Linde's proposed pound 8.2-bil-lion (15 billion) acquisition of BOC.The deal is subject to certain divestitures to address concerns relating to the market for industrial gases on the U.S.East Coast and Midwest,as well as the wholesale global bulk liquid helium market.
