Dow Chemical has reclaimed the crown in this year's Billion-Dollar Club,CW's proprietary ranking of companies by chemical sales,compiled by senior associate editor Kerri Walsh.Higher petrochemical sales and favorable currency exchange rates pushed Dow's 2005 revenues to 46.3 billion,allowing it to reclaim the top spot,a position it has not held since 2001.Last year's leader,BASF,was relegated to second position,with sales of 39.4 billion,while rising petrochemical sales propelled ExxonMobil up three spots to third place,with chemical sales of 31.0 billion.
