Russia Outlines Plans for 2015;Industry Association Joins ICCA

The Russian government has announced guidelines for developing the country's chemical and petrochemical industry through 2015.The measures are designed to meet rising domestic and foreign demand,the government says.The strategy was outlined at a recent industry meeting held at the headquarters of Nizhnekamskneftekhim(Nizhnekamsk;Russia),one of Russia's biggest chemical manufacturers.The meeting was presided over by Russia's deputy minister of industry and energy,Andrei Reus,and attended by several industry executives including Nizhnekamskneftekhim general director Vladimir Busygin.
