The study compared phytomass structure (percentages of phytomass fractions) and annual primary production of mesotrophic dwarf-shrub-Sphagnum mires-the most widespread mires in Karelia, West Siberia, and Priamur'e. The analysis showed similarities and differences in phytomass structure among the regions. Fire-disturbed and undisturbed mires of Priamur'e were compared.
