Polarization processes in water

摘要

The possibility of applying the harmonic oscillation theory to describe forced oscillations of a dipole in an alternating electric field is shown. The frequency dependence of the dielectric spectrum of water is considered. The dielectric permittivity of water is calculated using the theory outlined.
