摘要

The results of an investigation of the morfology of a polymer insulation of power cables, carried out with the help of a computer video enchanced microscopy are stated. To study the morfology the following methods have been used: a method of darkfield, a method of phase and differentional interference contrast, a method of an anoptroptal and polarisation microscopy and a method of an asymmetric illumination contrast. it is established that insulation structure is heterogeneous and anisotropic.That leads to inhomogenity and the anisotropy of the local electric strength (electric treeing resistance). The establishment of a relationship between the electric strengths and the morfology makes it possible to the determine ways for improving atechnology ensuring an increase in the cable reliability.
