The Determination of Equivalent Parameters of a Power System for Adaptive Operation of Emergency Controls

摘要

A method of determining an equivalent power transmission angle from the measured current and voltage at a node of a complex power system during a transient is considered. It is shown that the proposed method can be used to actuate automatic control circuits for detecting and removing out-of-step operation in a power system under conditions when there is incomplete information on its equivalent parameters.
