Changeable polarity stator windings for three-phase, three- and four-speed induction motors

Three- and four-speed windings with? changeable polarity with a ratio of pole pairs of 1:2:4 and l:2:4:8 are considered. It is shown that the existing windings have relatively low energy characteristics, which is due to the low filtering capacityof the windings. New changeable polarity multispeed windings have been? designed, which ensure more effective operation of multispeed induction motors in drives with a constant load power.
