摘要

Non-controlled two-bridge rectifiers are considered, in which the current transformation ratios depend on their load and influence on the electric power consumption and the external characteristics of the rectifiers. Theoretical and experimental investigations showed that the use of these rectifiers for arc welding enables the mass and electric power consumption to be considerably reduced compared with traditional welding apparatus. The investigation results are used for designing economic welding rectifiers.
