摘要

A mathematical model of a six-phase squirrel-cage induction motor is presented. Differentionalequations of the machine considered are written in two interconnected systems of co-ordinate axes.That made it possible to keep as much as possible the conventional equations which are applied forthree-phase motors. Results of calculating electromechanical processes in the model of the motorconsidered under breaching conditions of symmetry of space and time shift of a supply voltage aregiven. It is shown that the values of the machine torque components can serve for evaluating theeffectiveness of its as a multiphase machine.
