Technological opportunities of strengthening process of cylindrical containers by autofretting of elastic agent pressure was investigated. Procedure of calculation of principal characteristics of strengthening process by autofretting withallowance for specialities of elastic agent (polyurethane) deforming and compressibility was developed. The equation of volume compressibility modules estimating for different types of polyurethane and with different hardness was obtained.
