摘要

The temperature and time effect on diffusion boronizing, preform porosity, carbon content on boronized layer thickness for hot-deformed powder materials are investigated. It is found that the process above at the temperature of Fe-B eutectics formation differs from the process when liquid phase is absent. These processes are conventionally called liquid phase and solid phase boronizing. The difference is the greater saturation speed and the possibility of porous preform infiltration by melt during liquid phase boronizing. Optimal processing boronizing parameters defined.
