Hydrogen sorption by sintered intermetallic compounds in the Sc-Ni system

The hydrogen sorption by the sintered Sc{sub}2Ni, ScNi. ScNi{sub}2. Sc{sub}2Ni{sub}7 and ScNi{sub}5 intermetallic compounds is studied. The sorption isobars are taken under pressure 0,1 and 3 MPa; maximum of hydrogen content in the intermetallic compounds is determined. The sorption properties of the sintered Sc-Ni alloys are compared with those of alloys melted in an arc furnace.
